DescriptionDepicted is an imposing residence with four large fluted columns in the front of the building. Two chimney stacks are featured as well. Beautifully landscaped with park-like features. Originally built by Moses Plimpton (born in 1795) was a leading citizen and historian in the community. Among his credits, is that he built and operated the Columbian Cotton Factory. Later Channing Wells one of the American Optical owners lived in the house with his family. Former home to the BPO Elks Club, in the 1950s and on. Since 2003, the Southbridge Credit Union have owned this property. After conversion to an office style, the building has been occupied since 2006.
