DescriptionTower used to spot planes during World War II on the Princeton Town Common in Princeton, Massachusetts. It was used as a back-up to the tower on Mount Wachusett during foggy weather. Inside was a telephone to alert Hanscom Air Force Base. The tower was manned mostly by women and children.
