| Description | A photograph of the Statue of General William Franklin Draper located in Draper Park in the heart of Milford, Massachusetts. The statue shows General William F. Draper seated upon a horse. Both the park and the statue were presented to the town by his wife, Susan Preston Draper, in 1912, shortly after his death on Jan. 28, 1910. The statue was designed by Daniel Chester French, probably best known for his statue of Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial. |
